JSW Cement has long been recognized as a pioneer in “green” manufacturing, and the Nagaur plant continues this legacy. The facility is intended to be a model of environmentally friendly industrialism. It includes advanced systems for co-processing alternative fuels, which reduces the reliance on traditional coal.
One of the most impressive features is the Overland Belt Conveyor, which is 7 kilometers long. This system transports limestone directly from the mines to the plant, eliminating the need for hundreds of fuel-guzzling trucks and significantly reducing the carbon footprint of raw material transportation.

The Nagaur plant is built on a foundation of innovation. The facility will soon be outfitted with a 16 megawatt Waste Heat Recovery System (WHRS). This technology captures and converts massive amounts of heat produced during the clinker-making process into clean electricity.
By recycling its own waste heat, the plant reduces its reliance on the external power grid and overall operational emissions. It’s an excellent example of how modern engineering can strike a balance between high-volume production and environmental responsibility, a feat that JSW continues to achieve.

The Nagaur plant was commissioned in record time of 21 months, demonstrating the group’s execution capabilities. This speed is critical because the company’s long-term goal is to reach a staggering 60 MTPA capacity.
