Russian invaders are mining the Inhulets River coast in locations where Ukrainian troops may be operating in the Southern Buh area.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s press service stated this in a recent battle update posted on Facebook.

“The enemy is protecting and mining the coast of the Inhulets River in areas where our soldiers may be operating in the Southern Buh direction. In the vicinity of the hamlet of Davydiv Brid, Kherson region, it is also engaged in counter-battery battle, inflicting air attacks with the cooperation of army aircraft,” the statement reads.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy is waging active assault operations in the Sievierodonetsk and Bakhmut directions, backed up by artillery and mortar fire.

The enemy is attempting to take complete control of Sievierodonetsk and surround Ukrainian Defense Forces units operating in the vicinity. In the districts of Siversk and Raihorodok, Russian forces are also preparing for an offensive.
