According to Acharya, India could electrify all two-wheelers currently on the road and finish electrifying all public buses in five to seven years. On behalf of five state governments, CESL recently granted a contract for 5,450 electric buses.
According to Acharya, CESL is still looking for investors for its distributed solar operations, which are now funded internally.
