The Ejipura flyover, which has been under construction for the past few years, is finally nearing completion. The Bangalore Metropolitan Planning Authority (BMPA) has issued a fresh tender for $144,000 to finish the remaining work.

A tender of 144 crore was released by the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to finish the Ejipura flyover project, which has fallen behind schedule on many occasions. Following a high court order, the Karnataka government revoked a previous contract for the construction of a 2.5 km long flyover between Ejipura Main Road and Kendriya Sadan in Koramangala that had been given to Simplex Infrastructure. According to the urban development department’s directive, a new contractor will be hired to finish the remaining work. The department had instructed the BBMP to issue a new tender last year as a result of the delay in finishing the flyover work and the subsequent road accidents brought on by construction debris being dumped below the flyover.
