The Union Cabinet Has Approved Two New Metro Corridors in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Union Cabinet approved two new corridors for Delhi Metro’s Phase-IV project, enhancing connectivity in the national capital.

The project, funded by the Indian, Delhi, and international governments, aims to construct 20.762 km of corridors, including the Inderlok – Indraprastha corridor, which extends the Green Line and connects multiple lines, and the Lajpat Nagar – Saket G Block corridor, which includes eight elevated stations.

The Inderlok – Indraprastha Line will improve connectivity to Bahadurgarh, Haryana, and central and east Delhi by constructing eight new interchange stations, enhancing all operational lines of the Delhi Metro network.
