Telangana Launches ₹56,000 Cr in Rail, Road, and Power Projects

With a total investment of ₹56,000 crores, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated, inaugurated, and laid the foundation for a number of developmental projects in Adilabad, Telangana.
The prime minister dedicated 660 MW of the North Karanpura Super Thermal Power Project in Jharkhand and officially opened NTPC’s 800 MW Telangana Super Thermal Power Project. He also set the groundwork for a number of power initiatives in several states, such as hydroelectric and solar projects.

In addition, among others, PM Modi launched and established a number of projects by the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC), Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL), Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN), and TUSCO that would greatly increase India’s potential for renewable energy.

Regarding the railways, the PM launched the electrified Ambari – Adilabad – Pimpalkhuti train line and established the framework for other National Highway initiatives designed to enhance the state of Telangana’s connection with neighbouring regions like Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh.
