South Perimeter Highway construction begins Monday

The South Perimeter Highway in Manitoba is set to begin construction on Monday.

The Manitoba government has announced that road construction will take place on Provincial Trunk Highway 100 (South Perimeter) and Provincial Road 200 (St. Mary’s Road).

Lane closures will occur both eastbound and westbound for median work. The construction zone’s speed restriction will be reduced to 60 km/h.

The province stated that PR 200 will be unaffected.

The building is planned to be finished by the end of next month.
