(KIFI) – BLACKFOOT, Idaho – Residents living along a stretch of South Fisher in Blackfoot should expect some construction.
Multiple water service lines and water main lines will be replaced on S. Fisher between E. Walker and South Street by the City of Blackfoot Water Department.
Construction is set to begin on Monday and is expected to be finished by August 10, 2022.
There will be road closures and detours during the construction. When the city service line is replaced, water service to individual residences will be disrupted. At the time of the disruption, the contractor will notify the resident. When water service to the area is interrupted for mainline work, the contractor will notify affected residents via door hanger 24 hours ahead of time.
The outages should not last longer than eight hours at a time. On-street parking may be limited at times, but residents will have access to their driveways.
