Pune gets ₹1,500cr towards 1,900 ha land acquisition for RR project

The total cost of the project is expected to be ₹26,000 crores and MSRDC is appointed to execute the work. The eight lane expressway will be 173.7km long with a designed vehicle speed of 120km/hour. The State Finance Minister Ajit Pawar has allotted ⁹1,500 crores for acquiring 1,900 hectares of land for the proposed ring road project in Pune.

The project will help in segregating the city and the highway traffic, along with reducing vehicular pollution.
