In Banaskantha, Gujarat, the Prime Minister lay the cornerstones for more than 8,000 crore worth of projects, including the beginning of irrigation and water infrastructure projects that would support irrigation facilities throughout Banaskantha, Patan, and Mehsana, among other districts.

In light of the difficult times the state has previously experienced, Gujarat’s residents’ unwavering pursuit of happiness is what gives them the stamina to face any adversity with the resources at their disposal. The adoption of drip irrigation by North Gujarati farmers has increased the region’s agricultural output. In addition, the PM dedicated two railway projects totaling over 2,900 crore rupees to the country in Ahmedabad. These initiatives include the Lunidhar-Jetalsar Gauge Conversion Line and the Ahmedabad-Himmatnagar-Udaipur Gauge Conversion Line. and officially open brand-new trains between Asarwa and Udaipur as well as between Bhavnagar and Jetalsar.
