The Opa Water Works project, which cost Rs 29 crore, is finished and will shortly be put into service. The project’s goal is to improve Smart City Panaji’s water supply by giving the state capital an extra 63 million liters of water per day (MLD). Intake wells, an extra pump house with six centrifugal pumps (each having a 20 MLD capacity), a 1,500 cubic meter sump, a 300 CuM ground-level reservoir (GLR), and two 2,500-liter master balancing reservoirs atop Curti Hill are among the important infrastructure that has been finished.
