Ocean Lifespaces wins 6 lakh sq.ft construction contracts

For the completion of a 6 lakh square foot industrial facility for the Dubai-based port and logistics organisation, DP World in Chennai, leading design & build, EPC, and GC contracting company Ocean Lifespaces India has won the design and build EPC contract. Along with this, the company also won a coveted civil contract from ZF Rane Automotive India, a partnership between the German-based ZF Group and the Rane Group, to build a new plant in Tiruchirapalli (Trichy), Tamil Nadu, with an area of 100,000 square feet. Founder and CEO, SK Peter, stated that even under the hybrid model, there has been an increase in the demand for office space as the globe slowly returns to normal.

A multi-year growth cycle is about to begin in the business, thus demand for commercial space is also rising. Gaining the DP World contract to build a 6 lakh square foot industrial complex in Chennai bodes well for its future development. Ocean Lifespaces has been winning contracts for both interior solutions and civil works, and its MNC clients include some of the biggest names in business, like Ford, Swiss Re, Google, Ola, Walmart, and others.
