These highways will be upgraded through multiple road linkage projects, which will connect JNPT (Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust) with the hinterland road network. The minister stated that the projects, which will cater to massive traffic volumes of around 48 lakhs, will significantly reduce travel time and vehicle.

operating costs, as well as bolstering the region’s economic development through increased exports and connectivity with Navi Mumbai International Airport. The two grade separators being built at Karal Phata and Gavan Phata will also improve lane interchange and connect the national and state highways.
