NHAI floats tenders for ₹1,897-cr road projects

With a total budget of 1,897.47 crores, the National Highways Authority of India has released tenders for numerous road infrastructure projects. The Panipat-Jalandhar Section of the Old NH-1 (new NH-44) will be constructed, widened, and have drainage issues corrected as part of the second project, which will cost $551.88 crore and take 30 months to complete.

As part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, it has also released a request for proposals (RFP) for the access-controlled, four-lane, paved shoulder road from Mysore to Kushalnagara stretch of NH-275 (Package-III) in Karnataka. The project is expected to cost $666.97 crore and take 18 months to complete.
