Sector 142 will soon be connected to the Botanical Garden Metro Station by a new line that will be built by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC). Six new metro stations will be built as part of the project, which is estimated to cost 2,826 crore, to connect the two locations. Near Sector 44, the route will cross the Mahamaya Flyover, and a new platform will be constructed where it crosses the current Magenta Line. The line is anticipated to handle about 1.5 lakh passengers each day, with the capacity to increase to one million in the future.
The new line will give passengers coming from Delhi and Haryana to Greater Noida a more practical choice since they won’t have to get off at Sector 51 and take a bus or an automobile to get to Sector 142. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation created a thorough project report for the line in 2016, and an updated version has been submitted to the UP government for approval.
