The concrete polymer, developed by Prof. Rishabh Jain and his colleagues at the Department of Civil Engineering at IIT-B, offers a practical and economical substitute for conventional restoration techniques.
Concrete is made more robust by adding polymers, which lowers the possibility of recurrent fractures and potholes. In addition to addressing current road problems, the suggested approach attempts to stop further degradation, which would benefit authorities and commuters in the long run.
