The line will feature two stations: an elevated station at Airport Colony and an underground station at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) Terminal 2.
The TBM ‘Disha’ completed a 1.647-kilometer tunnel between Andheri East and CSMIA. This tunnel, with a finished diameter of 6.35 meters, was constructed using a dual-mode hard rock TBM. The project faced challenging geological conditions, including a sharp gradient and minimal overburden clearance, without major.
Once operational, Line 7A will provide direct connectivity from Dahisar East to CSMIA, offering seamless interchanges with Metro Lines 1, 6, and 9.
