The 19 km long Char Dham Rail Tunnel in Uttarakhand is being built more quickly thanks to Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd. The tunnel is being dug and excavated by the business using cutting-edge NATM technology at a height of 2,250 feet above sea level in the eastern Himalayan peaks.

The cross passageways in package -7B’s 10 km of tunnel work have already been finished by the contractor. This difficult task was completed in just 18 months, despite extreme weather, landslides, floods, strong rock formations, and topographic difficulties. The MEIL was recognised as the top contractor for the Char Dham Project by the Rail Vikas Nigam Limited RVNL, which praised the company for completing its work quickly.
