Maha-Metro starts track laying work on underground metro tunnel

The Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation (Maha-Metro) has begun laying tracks in the metro tunnel’s underground passageway while concurrently putting in electric wires and a signal system. Range Hills marks the beginning of the underground section, which terminates at Swargate. The project is anticipated to be finished in the next months, after which the underground section will be tested. The first line’s subterranean section runs between Swargate and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). There are five stations that are planned to be built along the 6 km long subterranean section that runs from Range Hills to Swargate: Shivajinagar, Civil Court, Budhwar Peth, Mandai, and Swargate.
