JDA floats tender for ₹150 cr cable-stayed bridge

A $150 billion project to build the city’s first cable-stayed bridge on JLN Marg has been put out to bid by the Jaipur Development Authority. At OTS Junction, the initiative seeks to ease traffic congestion. According to the plan, the project will be 440 metres long, and the administration also intends to build rotaries on Jhalana Road in front of the Jaipur Dairy. Additionally, at each of the intersection’s four ends, a pedestrian tunnel will be built. Additionally, one of the tunnels will be converted into an art gallery. For traffic travelling from the Malviya Nagar Railway overbridge toward Gandhi Circle on JLN Marg, a bridge will be constructed at the OTS intersection.

Three metro lines will be constructed by the JDA at Jawahar Circle on JLN Marg as part of the signal-free project at B2B bypass. Between State Hanger Road and Airport Terminal 2, the first subway has been built, and the civic organisation has already begun building work there.
