Singareni Collieries Company has awarded GOCL Corporation, a Hinduja Group company and a manufacturer of energetics and commercial explosives in India, a Rs 415 crore contract (SCCL). Singareni Collieries is a coal-mining company owned by the government.

GOCL will supply a variety of equipment across its operations for two years (2022-2024) under this agreement. Bulk explosives worth Rs 351 crore, LD explosives worth Rs 42 crore, and accessories worth approximately Rs 21 crore will be delivered. The order resulted in a 40% price increase over the base price and a 5% waiver of the powder factor penalty clause.

Hindustan Aeronautics, an Indian state-owned aerospace and defence company, recently placed a purchase order with GOCL Corp for Rs 19 crore in Canopy Severance Systems (CSS). This has become the single largest order received by GOCL Corp’s Special Products Group.
