Shri Nitin Gadkari, the Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, reviewed the status of 29 national highway projects in Nagaland, totaling 545 kilometers in length. The Minister emphasized the significance of accelerating the state’s transportation infrastructure development during the review, with an emphasis on cost-effectiveness and sustainability.

In order to promote local economic growth and enable the region’s greater integration with India’s larger development objectives, Shri Gadkari underlined the need of these infrastructure projects for improving connectivity in Nagaland.
