Future road tunnels in border areas may house ammo and missiles

The future of road tunnels in border areas is looking more and more like they may be used to house ammunition and missiles. With the ever-increasing tensions between countries, it seems like a logical step to take in order to prepare for the worst. Colonel John Alexander, retired from the U.S. Army Special Forces, believes that this is a real possibility and is something that should be taken into consideration. “If you look at the way militaries are moving towards using tunnels for storage and movement of equipment and supplies, it’s not a huge leap to think that they might also be used to store weapons,” he said.

While this may seem like a far-fetched idea, it’s important to remember that the world is a constantly changing place and we must be prepared for anything. If road tunnels do end up being used to store weapons, it would be a major game changer in the way that wars are fought.
