Wrench SmartProject will be used by Century Group Taiwan to manage project engineering deliverables on upcoming projects for the design and fabrication of offshore foundations for Asia’s growing wind energy sector.
Century Group, a Taiwanese engineering and fabrication company based in Taoyuan City’s Guanyin District, has decided to build foundations for the Taiwanese offshore wind industry. There will be a 33000 m2 workshop, a 4000 m2 administration building with 400 employee canteens, 3000 m2 of warehousing space, and nine hectares of outdoor storage.
Century Group approached Wrench for an EDMS system, but after a thorough and thorough evaluation, they recognised the value of the advanced features Wrench provides and decided to purchase the extended platform functionality. Century Group now has a complete engineering deliverable management system with best practises built in, ensuring smooth continuous collaboration between international and local suppliers, as well as with their clients. They will be able to track the progress of each document and report it to their clients in real time.
“We were impressed by the dashboard, simultaneous online commenting, comment consolidation between different parties, clear visible workflow, complete rate counting, e-mail and action item tracking, auto-create configurable cover page and correspondence template demonstrated during the Proof of Concept phase,” said Ken Chang of the Century Group team.
“The customer liked that the engineering deliverables in SmartProject are linked to the schedule,” said Varghese Daniel, CEO of Wrench Solutions. This is a SmartProject-only feature that will allow them to accurately measure progress, report it quickly, and, if necessary, expedite work across users.”
