CASE Construction Equipment, a CNH Industrial brand, has opened a Skill Development Center to provide a better understanding and training on how to operate a Loader Backhoe. It helps the Central Government’s Skill India Mission by annually training 240 professionals. Two classrooms dedicated to theory classes and counselling make up the 1200 square foot facility.

“The centre is aimed at supporting and furthering people’s learning ambitions,” said Satendra Tiwari, Plant Head – CASE Construction, India. We are committed not only to improving their abilities, but also to assisting them in finding work and honing their soft skills in preparation for future opportunities.”
The training centre is accepting applications from applicants between the ages of 18 and 35 who have completed at least the eighth grade. A commercial driver’s licence from the LMV is required. Training and lodging will be provided at no cost to the participants. The trainees can work for CNH dealers and clients, as well as other loader backhoe dealers and construction sites. The trainees’ employment will be contingent on available placement opportunities within the district or state. The programme has already enrolled 30 trainees and will begin its first batch in the near future.
CASE India is committed to empowering youth in the rural community through this initiative and providing vocational opportunities to the trainees, according to Puneet Vidyathi, Head- Marketing and Business Development – CASE Construction, India & SAARC. “Through the Loader Backhoe Skill Development programme, we will assist trainees in obtaining employment in the ecosystem through CASE dealer partners, vendors, and suppliers, as well as other possible industry opportunities in the district or state.” We hope to positively impact many families by making a difference in the lives of young people in the construction equipment and related industries.”
The training programme will be conducted for the minimum number of hours required by the Infrastructure Equipment Sector Skill Council and in accordance with the Ministry of Skills and Entrepreneurship’s common norms and notification. Technical skills, product and process knowledge, health and safety, soft skills grooming, including interpersonal skills, personal management, work-life sensitivity, and life skills, will all be covered in the programme.
Basic computer knowledge assessment and certification, as well as periodic assessments as a post-training course, will be provided by CASE India’s experts and industry professionals. Infrastructure Equipment Sector Skill Council Roles & Responsibilities will assess and certify all trainees.
