On October 29, 2024, the last of the nine river bridges between Vapi and Surat for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Corridor was finished on the Kharera River in Gujarat’s Navsari district. The piers of this 120-meter-long bridge, which includes three 40-meter girders, range in height from 14.5 to 19 meters.
