BNY Mellon, a global financial institution that provides clients with cutting-edge financial services, has opened a state-of-the-art office in Chennai, India. With a total area of over 760,000 square feet and the capacity to accommodate more than 4,000 employees, the new facility will be BNY Mellon’s single largest facility in India.
BNY Mellon now has a total footprint of more than 1.36 million square feet across its India offices. BNY Mellon places a high priority on employee well-being, prioritising elements such as ergonomic furniture, height-adjustable workstations, quiet rooms, and special needs arrangements. For the first time in India, the office will also house BNY Mellon’s global art collection, providing a glimpse into the company’s 230-year history.
Embassy Chennai is located in Chennai’s IT corridor, which is made up of a cluster of IT parks and infrastructure that supports the city’s technology economy.
