The authorities have started work on the Sadar railway gate underpass to reduce traffic. The underpass will be built between the existing railway lines and the Sadar Road. The work is expected to be completed within two years. The underpass will have a width of 10 meters and a height of 5 meters. It will be able to accommodate two-way traffic.
Rajnath Singh, the MP for Lucknow and the union defence minister, is ignoring a number of projects, including the underpass. Following a meeting with locals and the defence minister, construction has begun. DRM SK Sapra, a senior DCM, and the railway crew were then ordered to conduct an underpass survey.
As a result of the closure of the Sadar railway gate, which connects Lucknow to the Cantt region, inhabitants of the Cantt and Purana Qila areas currently face a long commute. As a result, traffic bottlenecks and congested roads are now an everyday occurrence.
The outdated bridge linking KKV College and Azad Basti will shortly be replaced in order to address these problems with an elevated road. Moreover, the Azad Basti section of the Hyder Canal outflow
