The district administration has established a helpline number to address complaints about illegal mining, open bores, environmental pollution, stubble burning, traffic-related issues, unlawful encroachments on government properties, de-addiction centres, travel brokers, and other issues. Residents can send their complaints to the WhatsApp helpline number 79735-30515.
Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner Surabhi Malik said city residents can file complaints about illegal mining, environmental pollution, stubble burning, traffic troubles, encroachments on government assets, and other issues through the helpline number 79735-30515 (only WhatsApp).
She stated that the helpline number will be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and that dedicated workers would be assigned to ensure that all complaints received on the helpline were handled promptly. She explained that previously, concerns were received by many officials, which resulted in them not being resolved on time, but that now, locals may submit their complaints to a designated helpline number.
