MMRDA invites bid for 21-km metro lines consultants

The Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA) has tendered the appointment of a General Counsel (GC) for the construction and systems engineering of 9.20 km of Line 10 (Gaimukh – Shivaji Chowk) and 20.7 km.

GCs are selected based on QCBS (Quality and Cost Basis System) technology, and the winners receive the highest marks in technical and financial assessments. Line 10 is the western extension of Mumbai’s 35.2km line 4/4A (green line) and will have four stations at Gaimukh Reti Bundar, Varsova Char Phata, Kashimira and Shivaji Chowk.

Line 12 will be a 20.75km south extension of 24.95km Line 5 (orange line) with 17 stations including Ganesh Nagar, Pisvali Gaon, Golavali, Dombivli MIDC, Sagaon, Sonarpada, Manpada, Hedutane, Kolegaon, Nilaje Gaon , Vadavali, Bale, Waklan, Turbhe, Pisarve Depot and Pisarve, which will also have a metro station.
