Work on Kakkanad Road Development Will Be Started by Kochi Metro

From Kunnumpuram to NGO Quarters Junction in Kakkanad, road construction work is scheduled to begin by Kochi Metro Rail Ltd (KMRL). In order to improve traffic flow and allow non-motorized transport (NMT), the project intends to widen the stretch. Widening projects are being bid on as part of the planning for Metro’s Phase-II line, which will run from JLN Stadium to Infopark. The project include improving drainage infrastructure, building new sidewalks and renovating the ones that already exist.
