The 13,000 m² booth features eight production systems for road construction, earthmoving, and materials processing, and has been nominated for the bauma Innovation Award.
The Wirtgen Group is showcasing concrete solutions at the Bauma show, aiming to help the industry overcome challenges such as skilled labour shortages, stringent quality requirements, project documentation, and efficiency. The company is presenting state-of-the-art machines, technologies, and digital solutions for its customers’ Production Systems in three industry segments, focusing on end-to-end solutions for construction projects.
The Technology Zone will feature the John Deere Operations Center™ for construction, the Wirtgen Group Performance Tracker (WPT) Paving, WPT Compacting, WPT Recycling, and WPT Crushing, which offer a continuous overview of progress in all processes and document the work carried out by each individual machine.
The company’s main focus will be the ‘Production System for a Construction Site with Zero Local Emissions,’ nominated for the 2025 bauma Innovation Award in the category ‘Climate Protection’. The digitalisation and automation solution ‘Smart Automation in Roadbuilding’ is one of the top three contenders for the bauma Innovation Award in the ‘Digitalisation’ category.
