On an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis, Western Railway has issued an invitation for bids for the gauge conversion of the Samni-Jambusar section of the Vadodara Division. A variety of civil engineering tasks are included in the project’s 249.93 crore budget, including earthwork, minor and major bridge construction, road under and over bridges, track linking, station construction, platforms, cover sheds, foot over bridges, service buildings, staff quarters, circulation areas, watering, and sanitation.
The project will take 26 months to complete and spans a distance of 24.08 km. It is anticipated to enhance local infrastructure and transportation.
