West Bengal Opens Rail Projects Totaling Almost ₹940 Cr

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has allocated over ₹940 crore for four major rail projects in West Bengal, aiming to enhance connectivity and boost economic development.

The projects inaugurated include the Damodar – Mohishila rail line doubling, the construction of a third line between Rampurhat and Murarai, the Bazarsau – Azimganj rail line doubling, and a new rail line connecting Azimganj to Murshidabad.

The initiatives aim to improve rail connectivity, streamline freight movement, and stimulate industrial and economic growth in West Bengal.
