Upgradation of NH-25 extension in Rajasthan approved at ₹235-cr

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has recently approved an upgradation project for the NH-25 extension in Rajasthan, at an estimated cost of ₹235 crore. The upgradation will include the construction of a 4-lane divided carriageway from Kishangarh to Udaipur, along with the improvement of the existing 2-lane road. The project is expected to be completed within a period of 24 months.

The repair and renovation of the Ghagaria-Munabao portion of District Barmer in Rajasthan’s NH-25 extension to a 2-lane road with paved shoulders has been approved at a cost of 235.15 crore, according to Nitin Gadkari, India’s Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways. The project, which will provide better connectivity between NH-68, NH-25, and NH-925, travels through Rajasthan’s underdeveloped districts and is anticipated to spur economic growth by reducing traffic congestion.
