With a primary focus on the implementation of infrastructure development schemes funded by both the Central and State governments in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), the Telangana Urban Finance and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (TUFIDC), a division of the MAUD, has started a number of urban infrastructure projects totaling 3,809 crore.
The organisation that supports urban local bodies in undertaking infrastructure projects has thus far approved funding for 117 ULBs. The loans total 160.05 crore for the Nizamabad Sewerage Project, 72.68 crore for the Siddipet Underground Drainage Project, 75.76 crore for the Sircilla Drinking Water Supply Project, and 81.41 crore for the Suryapet Drainage Scheme. For the construction of faecal sludge treatment plants, loans of 50 crore rupees have been approved.
