The state of Uttar Pradesh is rushing to complete the ₹2,670cr Gorakhpur metro project

The Uttar Pradesh government has directed the urban development department to expedite work on the first phase of the Gorakhpur metro lite project, which is expected to cost $2,670 crore. The European Investment Bank (EIB) has expressed interest in assisting with the project’s financing.
