The NMRC has approved a budget of about Rs 200 crore for the metro project.

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has approved a budget of Rs 287.62 crore for the fiscal year 2022-2023, as well as an order for an internal audit report.

The construction of flyovers will facilitate passenger movement between Noida-Greater Noida and the Metro lines, thanks to this approval and budget allocation.
Two new foot-over-bridges (FOB) between Sector 51 Aqua Line and Sector 52 Blue metro line were approved at the 31st board meeting. A new metro route has been established between Sector 51 in Noida and Knowledge Park-5 in Greater Noida West.

The Board discussed expediting the approval of the detailed project report (DPR) from Aqua Line Sector 51 in Noida to Knowledge Park V in Greater Noida by May 2022 for commuter convenience and ridership enhancement, according to Ritu Maheshwari, Managing Director of NMRC and CEO of Noida Authority.
