Tata Projects Ltd was the lowest bidder out of three for the civil construction work of Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh.
The first phase of the Jewar Airport project includes a 90,000-square-meter Terminal 1 building, a 4150-meter-long Code ‘E’ runway with CAT III approach lighting and visual aids, a parallel end-to-end taxiway, an Air Traffic Control building, a cargo facility, and commercial developments.
The airport will initially operate with only one runway and a capacity of 12 million passengers per year. The initial runway will be 3,900 metres long and 45 metres wide.
