The first hybrid pick-and-carry crane is unveiled by Escorts Construction

The 13-tonne NXT13DC CNG Crane has a 49.5 HP BS III engine that is compatible with CNG and a sturdy straight axle backend. The NXT13DC CNG Crane was developed with indigenous R&D and is powered by a hybrid engine. The crane has a low operating cost and rear deck utility for moving material and manpower from one site to another.

For stability and safety during erection or high-height work, the crane has front outriggers. The new RC2522 Mono Chassis Safe Crane with a 25T lift capacity is equipped with anti-toppling features that improve site safety and innovative technology that outperforms traditional machines.

“The ongoing push for infrastructure projects is expected to continue to increase the demand for stable, safer, advanced tech equipment and more productive solutions in the construction and material handling equipment industry space,” Sanjeev Bajaj, Chief Executive of Escorts Construction Equipment, said. “We at Escorts are already headed in that direction to aptly equip ourselves to cater to the demands of our customers.”

Escorts is also working with the government on airport upgrades, Bharat Mala, bullet trains, ports, and bridges, and plans to build a crane platform that will solve these problems without requiring design changes.
