The Telangana government has made 2,500 crores available to fix roads and construct culverts that were harmed by monsoon rains. The money was authorised at a recent review meeting presided over by the state chief minister, including 1,865 crore for road repairs and 635 crore for building culverts. The Karimnagar, Adilabad, Warangal, Khammam, Medak, Nalgonda, Mahabubnagar, Adilabad, Nizamabad, and Rangareddy (rural) circles have detected damaged culverts on state highways, and 1,675 km of the 27,521 km of state roads have been severely damaged in 664 areas, according to officials.

As a result of waterlogging, 1,087 culverts and roadways have sustained considerable damage, according to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The government has instructed the department of roads and buildings to complete the repair work bids as soon as feasible.
