After outbidding the Shapoorji Pallonji Group and Larsen & Toubro, Tata Projects has won the contract to build the new airport in Jewar on an EPC basis. The passenger terminal, runway, airside infrastructure, roads, utilities, landside facilities, and other ancillary buildings are all part of the contract. The new airport, which will have a capacity of 12 million passengers per year, is expected to open in 2024.
Tata Projects Ltd CEO and MD-designate Vinayak Pai stated that the company will work closely with YIAPL to complete the airport on time. They will use cutting-edge technology in its construction while adhering to the highest quality, safety, and sustainability standards.
