Vinayak Pai, the current CEO and MD designate of Tata Projects, has been appointed as an executive director to the company’s board of directors.
Pai was the group president at Worley in Hague, Netherlands, before joining Tata Projects. He was in charge of Worley’s operations in the EMEA and APAC regions. Before Worley bought Jacobs, he was president of the energy, chemicals, and resources division.
He’s worked in engineering design, technology licencing, project management, business development, and operations, among other fields.
Pai earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the College of Engineering in Pune and a master’s degree in management from Symbiosis in Pune and IIT Mumbai.
