SMC announced that work on a 20-hectare property in San Jose del Monte City, which will serve as the main stabling area or train depot, has begun.

The depot will be able to hold up to 150 train cars, allowing the company to expand beyond the 36 train sets or 108 rail cars that are currently planned for the project.
“Now that the necessary land area for the MRT7 depot has been completed, we can’t afford to waste any more time; our team is fully committed to delivering this critical project to the public as soon as possible.”
