RVNL Wins ₹111 Cr Signaling Project from Southern Railway

Southern Railway has awarded Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. (RVNL) a ₹111.38 crore contract. Installing Moving Block Signaling Automatic Detection (MSDAC) systems and updating the Chennai Division’s automatic block signaling sections are the two main tasks of the project.

The task involves substituting Automatic Block Signaling in the MAS-GDR and MSB-TBM sections with MSDAC and integrating it with the current Centralized Traffic Control (DCTC) systems. It is anticipated that the project will be finished in 18 months.
