Rithwik Projects Secures Depot-Related Work Project for Mumbai Metro Rail

For the site development work associated with the vehicle depot for Metro Line-9 of the Mumbai Metro Rail Project, Rithwik Projects has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1). The contract was given by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to Rithwik Projects, whose bid was valued at ₹733.24 crore.

Rithwik Projects will build the depot’s infrastructure and carry out extensive land development work under the terms of this contract. A staging yard, an operation control center, a depot control center, an administrative facility, and facilities for maintenance and inspection are all included in this. The project also includes building roads, subterranean utility conduits, a drainage system, rainfall harvesting devices, and an additional substation. Pre-engineered building (PEB) and architectural finishing works for the CAR Depot at Dongri are also included in the contract.
