PWD launches work on flyover at Sarai Kale Khan

With a 57.7 crore expenditure, the Public Works Department (PWD) in Delhi has begun building a new flyover with three lanes and a length of 545 metres next to Sarai Kale Khan. It is planned to be finished by July of the following year. The new flyover would rise parallel to an existing flyover that directs traffic from the Ashram side towards Pragati Maidan and ITO. It will ease traffic from ITO towards Ashram.

The project involves widening the service lanes close to the Sarai Kale Khan interstate bus terminal as well as building a flyover, upgrading the adjacent road, installing a drainage system, installing lamps, and landscaping.
