Power Mech Projects Wins 1st Nuclear Power Sector ₹563cr Contract

The nuclear power sector’s first construction project by Power Mech Projects Limited (PMPL) has been announced.

With the acquisition of an order worth ₹563.23 crore, Power Mech Projects Limited (PMPL) has declared its first building project in the nuclear power industry. A contract covering civil, structural, and architectural works for the Turbine Island package of the 2 x 700 MWe PHWR Kaiga Atomic Power Project (Units 5 and 6) in Uttar Kannada district, Karnataka, was given by BHEL – Power Sector Southern Region. There will be a 12-month guarantee term in addition to the projected 32-month completion time. For PMPL, this is a big step forward as it enters the vital nuclear power infrastructure market.
