PM Modi Inaugurates ₹80,000 Cr Projects for Tribal Development in Jharkhand

At Hazaribag, Jharkhand, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi dedicated and laid the groundwork for projects totaling more than ₹80,000 crore, with an emphasis on the advancement of tribal populations. With the commencement of the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram.

Utkarsh Abhiyan, 30 states and Union Territories gained access to nearly 5 crore tribal people living in 63,000 villages. Through 25 activities by 17 ministries, the project seeks to eliminate significant gaps in social infrastructure, health, education, and means of subsistence.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN), he launched and prepared the groundwork for several projects valued at over ₹1360 crore. There are more than 1380 kilometers of roads, 120 Anganwadis, 250 multipurpose facilities, and ten dormitories for students.

Additionally, he unveiled a number of historic accomplishments under PM JANMAN, such as the establishment of 250 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras, the operationalization of 275 Mobile Medical Units, the operationalization of 500 Anganwadi Centers, the electrification of more than 75,800 Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) households in approximately 3,000 villages, and the saturation of more than 5,550 PVTG villages with “Nal se Jal.”

In order to enhance the educational infrastructure for the tribal groups, the Prime Minister inaugurated 40 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) and laid the foundation stone for 25 EMRS costing over ₹2,800 crore.
