PM Modi Inaugurates ₹29,400 Cr Infrastructure Projects in Mumbai
Additionally, PM Modi launched the ₹6,300 crore Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) Tunnel Project.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated several significant infrastructure projects worth over ₹29,400 crores in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The Thane-Borivali Tunnel Project, valued at ₹16,600 crores, will connect the Western Express Highway at Borivali with Thane Ghodbander Road, reducing travel time by 12 km. PM Modi initiated the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road (GMLR) Tunnel Project, worth ₹6,300 crores, connecting the Western Express Highway and Mulund, providing direct connectivity to Navi Mumbai airport and the Pune-Mumbai Expressway.

The Prime Minister inaugurates Kalyan Yard Remodeling and Gati Shakti Multi-Modal Cargo Terminal in Navi Mumbai, enhancing capacity and reducing congestion, while creating local employment opportunities. PM Modi dedicated new platforms at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and extended platforms at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Station, enhancing passenger capacity and station efficiency. The Prime Minister launched the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana, an ₹5,600 crores internship program aimed at reducing youth unemployment by offering skill enhancement and industry exposure.
